compassion ministry

Through the Compassion Ministry we provide practical help to the slum dwellers as well as those who are in need of help. We run schools, Girls’ home and sponsorships to students in other education institutions. We also provide help in other forms to the needy people including feeding them and holding Medical camps.

Through the Compassion ministry we run 6 schools for the slum children. This slum school ministry has gone through a change and all of them are now community based and helping the entire community through CHE Approach.

There is also a sponsorship programme where these and other children are sponsored to other higher schools.

We also run a Girls' Home.  There are thirty girls who live there. This Girls' home is located in the Uttara area of the city. We take care of all of their needs. Presently we are building a 6 storey building for this home and other ministries of Uttara Church Center.

We also run a hostel in the Chittagong Hill Tracts with 40 children. This Hostel is located in Ali Kadam.

We also run a sewing school for women and other deprived people in Bhaluka.
