The Dhaka Assembly of God Church was established in the 1966 initially for a year by Rev. Howard Hawkes and then by Rev. Calvin Olson, who provided leadership to the church for twenty years.  It was housed in rented places until 1975 when the church moved to its present location at the AG Center. 

The AG Center was founded by Rev. Calvin Olson who lived in Bangladesh for around 40 years.  The present Senior Pastor was brought to the Lord under the ministry of the Olsons.  

We are all grateful to the Olsons for living among us and investing in our lives. Both Calvin and his wife Marion are now with the Lord, rejoicing at the fruits they see in this nation.

Dhaka AG is involved in many ministries affecting the lives of thousands of people each in different places of the City and nation.
